Comment (by Alex__):

 Adding the parameter " --cc=clang" to the configure command fixes the
 issue with OS X 10.7.1 / Xcode 4.1 (thanks Carl). It might be interesting
 in this context that the libav repository compiles without modifying the
 compile parameters.
