 I am not sure if this is relevant for this particular issue, but there is
 something else that may be causing problem: IIRC, the Matroska spec
 requires subtitles to have duration, and the file I can observe
 ({{{hot.shots.sample.mkv}}}), they do not. I may be wrong, but I seem to
 remember that this issue was reported as “is not a keyframe” by
 mkvalidator.
