 Is there any way +genpts could be enabled by default when it's needed?
 Maybe with message about it at the default loglevel.

 IDK if there's ever a downside to using it that would make it dangerous to
 enable automatically.

 Users do run into this problem and then need to find this; see
 http://video.stackexchange.com/questions/14747/how-to-do-mpeg-mpg-to-mov-
 lossless-convertion for example.
