 As I'm a Debian maintainer I can tell you that release managers will never
 accept ffmpeg 3.1 in Debian in that state. Ubuntu will follow Debian.

 I'll also revert ffmpeg to 3.0.2 for my DMO repository if this ABI change
 isn't fixed.
