 Also stumbled over the issue with FFmpeg v3.3.2 (see attached report
 file). In my case I was able to work-around the issue by limiting the
 number of threads with "-threads 2".

 Further noticed that the log output contains a lot of "cur_dts is invalid"
 lines.
